My Make at Home Iced Matcha Latte
Ingredients: Milk of choice (I use organic unsweetened almond or raw whole milk, but any other works. 2 tsp. Organic matcha powder (it should be just the matcha powder without added sweeteners or other additives) Hot water 1-2 Tbsp pure maple syrup 1 tsp. vanilla extract Ice Instructions: Fill cup 2/3-3/4 with ice. Steep some water till it boils. In a separate cup or bowl, preferably ceramic (not plastic), mix 2 tsp. of organic matcha and and about 2 Tbsp- 1/4 cup hot water.(Enough so the matcha can steep, this is how the caffeine gets activated). Add the maple syrup and vanilla to the matcha shot and whisk together well. Pour your milk into your glass with ice, leaving some room for the matcha shot. I always leave a little extra room just in case, and add a little more milk if needed.
